SPSTYLE-ВР

SPSTYLE-ВР – is a multilayer high-barrier film for packaging of food products using the technology of thermoforming under vacuum or modified atmosphere (MAP).

SPSTYLE-ВР is used as the bottom film for soft thermoforming of shallow (up to 10cm) containers on molding machines of various types.

The SPSTYLE-ВР film is made of polyamide, polyolefin, polyethylene terephthalate, EVOH and an adhesive (modified polyethylene) approved for the food industry.

SPSTYLE-ВР is a unique packaging solution – the world's first biaxially oriented film suitable for the traditional thermoforming.

Superb has developed and patented the high-barrier biaxially oriented

SPSTYLE-BP film with improved thermoforming capability and the method for its manufacture (Patent RU 2 660 836 C1).

ADVANTAGES

An outer layer of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) provides not only for the perfect optical properties (gloss and transparency) of the film, but also for heat resistance, which allows the sealing of the packages through the overlaps, without running the risk of sealing the packages together.

A polyamide layer (РА) procures for the film's excellent strength.

Ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) ensures the high barrier to oxygen.

At the thickness of 60, 90 or 110μm, this film is readily formable into mechanically strong products free of any critical thinning, demonstrating high barrier properties and capable of withstanding transportation loads.

Biaxial orientation of the film ensures uniform stretching during molding and excellent strength (even at the corners).

Low specific weight of the film (kg/m2) provides for the optimum product weight /packaging weight ratio.
